For six years, Joseph Keels Elementary School has supported the Boys & Girls Club of the Midlands in many ways by providing our club with wonderful members whom exhibit talent, potential, and character. The administration, faculty and staff continuously demonstrate a sense of support to the Keels Boys & Girls Club staff members. Joseph Keels Elementary has formed a true collaboration with the Boys & Girls Club of the Midlands to bring out the “best” in all of our children we encounter on a daily basis. Some aspects of support are initiatives such as indoor recreation space, nutritious snack preparations, and a caring and passionate faculty and staff.
At the Keels Boys & Girls Club, visitors and guest will find an array of activities taking place on a daily basis. Our members and staff carry the attitude of being the “best” in all endeavors; therefore they display a sense of talent and compassion for what they do. The Keels Boys & Girls Club atmosphere is set as to where each member has the optimal opportunity to soar to greater heights.
Our goal at Keels Boys & Girls Club for 2010 is to be the best club in the world! We plan on accomplishing this goal by setting examples and taking the lead in leadership and development, education, sports and recreation, and health. Trying is the key to success!

Kristian Marchman is the Campus Director for Joseph Keels Boys & Girls Club. She joined the Joseph Keels staff in January of 2011 but has been withe the BGCM since 2008.
Kristian is a graduate of Coastal Carolina University where she majored in Health Promotion.
Her goal of this year is to increase the amount of members attending Keels Boys & Girls club and giving her staff the opportunity to learn and grow within the organization so that they can positively influence as many members as possible.
"I love working with Boys & Girls Club becasue I enjoy being the person that the members want to tell their day about. I also enjoy being a positive role model for members, and helping them learn good leadership and character traits in every aspect of their lives."
