New Providence Elementary School opened its doors in 2008, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands has been there since the beginning.
Because our club is small, each staff member is able to have an individual relationship with all students. Students of all ages develop a sense of unity and caring for one another, which enhances the family atmosphere of our club.
The staff at New Providence cares about the academic and emotional success of our students. Instead of simply babysitting, our staff works tirelessly to ensure quality programming, athletic opportunity, chances for artistic development and much more.
We hope to continue developing our relationship with New Providence Elementary, as the school is a family that we are proud to be a part of.

Sara McGregor is the new Campus Director for the New Providence Be Great Academy!
Sara is a graduate of the College of Charleston, where she majored in Arts Management and minored in Theatre.
Her goal for the 2011 school year is to organize and add more opportunities to the New Providence Be Great Academy. In the months she has been there, Sara has created a Drama and Gardening Club, a school garden, and Yoga for Kids.
"I love working with BGCM because it provides a fun, safe environment for children," McGregor said. "There's lots of hands-on, entertaining and educational activities!"
